Believe it or not, your brain is more complicated than a super computer. It can browse, access, store and analyse all kinds of information. It is fuelled by your food intake. It entails no extra efforts or extra costs.

Your brain is the hardware but all the functions mentioned above are executed through softwares installed in your brain. It calls for dynamic update of the software for optimum performance. You need to update the information as well as data stored in your brain on a second to second basis. For this, you may need to keep an eye on new books that appear in the market, listen to useful podcasts, monitor useful websites and other media outputs, and generally gain experience through your own as well as others’ activities. That way you will remain up-to-date and perform better.

Like the mobile phone, you need to charge your battery before it drains out. Otherwise, it may ditch you at the wrong moment. Make sure you get 8 hours of solid sleep—no matter what. That will recharge you physically as well as mentally. Sleep deprivation can harm you physically as well as mentally.

Another way of recharging yourself is by spending quality time with nature. Haul yourself out of your pigeon hole which is what most apartments are. Spend some time in the park and get a breath of fresh air and exercise for some time. And, take a break from the idiot box, mobile phone, computer etc. once in a while so you could focus on more important issues.

If you don’t pay attention, your hard drive might get cluttered with all kinds of stuff that are best avoided. So, make it a point to check your hard drive regularly and eliminate the temporary files that get stored in your brain.
Keep your hard drive slim and trim to improve the efficiency of your super computer. Flush your mind through meditation. Get into the habit of journaling. It will pay in the long run because you cannot remember everything all the time. When you find some time, talk to yourself. You may be surprised at the impact of self-talk.

If you do these regularly, it will enhance the processing speed of your super computer and improve the quality and quantity of the output manifold.
