Gain Respect for Free

Who doesn’t want to be respected? Is there anyone in this world who doesn’t want to be respected? In fact, all of us crave respect in society. The good thing is that there are at least 10 things that require no money and zero talent that will help you to enhance your respectability in the society and also in your workplace.

Always keep a clock in sight and keep tabs on time. Make a schedule and make sure that you stick to it. Always be on time. Nothing makes a more lasting impression on the people you meet than this.

Never give up without making an effort. If there is something worse than having failed, it is—not having tried at all.

Inculcate the habit of being in high spirits. Be energetic. Your energy will not only help you to gain admiration but also motivate your peers to be more active.

Always sport a positive attitude. There may be good days and bad days. There might be good times and bad times. But anyone with a positive attitude will take both in one’s stride and sail through tough situations with the equal ease. And, your entire life will become a cakewalk for you.

Be passionate about all that you do. Display commitment and determination towards all that you do and persist in your effort till drive things to their logical conclusion.

Study and understand body language. Always exude a good body language. Don’t be clumsy in your moves or in presenting yourself before others.

Don’t be stubborn. See reason when somebody tries to make a point or point out your mistakes. Learn from your mistakes and be receptive to advice in such situations.

Always try to do a little bit more than what is expected of an average person. You will outshine your peers that way.

Be prepared for contingencies. If you are alert you will never be taken by surprise. Develop strong work ethics and stick to them.

If you imbibe these wonderful qualities, you are sure to be noticed by your peers and your bosses. These are qualities that will make you stand out in a crowd. And, they cost nothing!
